Bantu knots can also be done on relaxed hair as a protective style to encourage the preservation of your length. It took be about 2.5 hours to complete as opposed to the 6-7 hours it takes to 2-strand twists my hair. I secured my knots with hair pins and removed the pins in the morning. I used the following items to create this style 100% pure raw shea butter A mixture of 1/3 Karens Body Beautiful Hair Nectar + 1/2 c glycerin + 1/2 distilled water in a spray bottle A little CURLS Milkshake to remove tangles rat tail comb hair clips straight pins
